Trip Itinerary

Day 1
With a complimentary airport pick up you will be shuttled to your downtown Hotel the High Country Inn. You can start you experience in Whitehorse with a strole through our wonderful northern littel capital. The hotel is located right downtown close to many services and shopping areas. If you wish we can arrange for any optional activities on this day, such as a Guided City Tour, a visit to the open air Hot Springs or a tour through the amazing Wildlife Preserve. Ask us for more details and let us know in advance which activitiy you might want to join, so we can make sure to get a reservation in for you.

This night you will spend in the cozy athmosphere of the High Country Inn.  You are welcome to redeem your Gift Certificate in the Bistro on Fourth, trying some true Northern meals with a locally brewed Yukon bear. Enjoy!!!

If you like to experience a night out at our Northern Lights Viewing Center, this might be the night to do it.

Day 2
The Up North Adventures van will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the starting point of our adventure. Pretty soon we should be all geared up and ready to hit the trail. After a short introduction into the basics of safe snowmobile riding, we are off for the rest of the day. On this full day tour we will take you far into Whitehorse’s beautiful backyard. Trails leading over frozen lakes alternate with routes through dense spruce forests. There will be numerous opportunities to stop and take in the scenery.  During this tour we include a lunch break where we serve a hearty meal. There’s also plenty of hot drinks to keep you warm throughout the day. On all our trips, we try to combine the fun with a learning experience and will introduce you to the Yukon’s wildlife, how to read tracks, winter safety and winter camping experiences. We can show you how to build an emergency shelter in the snow and how to make a fire. All this is part of winter living and a ton of fun!

Day 3
Your shuttle will take you up to the airport. We have to say our Good-Bys and wish you all the best.
